Palmetto Home Care is hiring an Administrative Assistant!!
The Administrative Assistant duties include:
- Answering telephone calls to the business office.
- Using a Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007.
- Having access to company cell or personal cell phone at scheduled times to receive forwarded office calls; may come in before and after business hours, including some weekends.
- Effectively communicating PHCU services to current and potential clients.
- Learn the Phoenix system to effectively monitor and access reporting for Medicaid clients.
- Scheduling caregivers to provide services to clients. This includes becoming familiar with all caregivers, clients and the Phoenix system.
- Assigning cases to caregivers that are a proper fit geographically, personality wise and professionally to fit the need of clients.
- Preparing all documents pertaining to payroll, such as: Verifying time sheets and times, following up with clients concerning time worked, filing and upkeeping payroll records, and performing all other duties related to payroll.
- Filing and preparing paperwork for clients, staff, and all other PHCU business, scanning, copying, and faxing documents as needed.
- Filling in as a caregiver in “emergency” situations.
- Preparing and executing all documentation pertaining to Medicaid.
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Administrative Assistant: 1 year (Required)
- Medicaid: 1 year (Preferred)
