Prime Time Logistics LLC is a leader in Intermodal and Dry Van Transportation Services to the ever-growing Logistics Industry.

Primary responsibilities of a Terminal Support Coordinator include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
  • Continuously monitoring the delivery status of inbound loads, identifying those in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested time/due date
  • Providing timely and accurate communication regarding inbound and outbound loads
  • Maximizing on-time deliveries by initiating contact with warehouse receiving departments, suppliers, and manufacturing plants
  • Assist in preparation of driver settlements
  • Scan backup documents into the system
  • Must be familiar with DOT/FMCSA safety requirements
  • Ensures vehicle/asset regulatory compliance
  • Tracks fleet assets within asset management system
  • Manages driver fuel cards
  • Dispatch containers/loads in accordance with the workload and organize, strategize, and prioritize the driver pool
  • Minimize operational costs related to demurrage / per diem of containers and chassis
  • Have a solid understanding of intermodal drayage (Port/Terminals)
  • Maintain dispatch system accuracy and in live status; ensure work is properly updated and reflected in ASCEND
  • Monitor import and/or export container termination status updates from port websites, call centers, and/or steamship lines tools/websites
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Logbooks and Hours of Service compliance requirements
  • Support driver monitoring efforts including Geofence (security routing) feature in GeoTab
  • Professional and respectful etiquette with drivers and internal/external customers
  • Other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry
  • Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.) and MS Office
  • Port and inland dispatch drayage operations experience a plus
  • One year experience working in Distribution, Transportation, or an analytical field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
